About Walking in the Wild Studio
Located in Perth, Western Australia, Walking in the Wild Studio is the creative space of artist and facilitator Zoë Wittber. Zoë makes detailed, pattern-based original artworks and commissions, and runs creative workshops.
About Zoë
Zoë's practice explores the beauty of yhr natural world through colour and patter. She works with considered compositions, using expressive line work and layered mark-making.
Her practice is intentional, with each piece evolving through a balance of structure and detail. Many works begin with loose colour, then sharpen into focus as patterns and tiny details are added by hand. These pieces are often based on the natural world with a strong focus on colour and pattern.
Zoë also takes commissions and runs workshops, giving people space to create at their own pace.
Studio philosophy
Walking in the Wild Studio is built on the belief that creativity should feel grounding and accessible. The studio is a space where adults and children can slow down, notice small details, and enjoy the feeling of making something with their hands.

- Animal guides, wings, fur, and feathers
- Botanical forms and succulents
- Patterns that repeat like organic rhythms
- Water, stones, and natural textures
